VET Accrediation:
According to the NTIS “The Australian vocational education and training (VET) system is recognised as among the most sophisticated in the world.

• The AQF defines all nationally recognised qualifications. It provides a single framework for all qualifications, from Secondary Certification to PhD. Within the VET sector the following qualifications are issued:
Certificate I
Certificate II (Year 11 credits)
Certificate III (Year 12 credits)
Certificate IV (TAFE Certificate)
Diploma
Advanced Diploma

The Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 (AQTF 2007) is the only national set of standards which assures nationally consistent, high-quality training and assessment services for the clients of Australia’s vocational education and training system.

The Certificate II in Airbrushing is born:
It has taken Airbrush Venturi over 5 years of dedicated effort and an investment of over $40,000 to have airbrushing become a nationally recognised industry skill and establish an accredited airbrush course.

Not only is the Certificate II in Airbrushing now part of the NTIS data base, but it is now an official Year 11 elective nationally, with students able to get 1/6th of their marks doing this course (varies from state to state) . . . one day a week, within a local feeder school network.

RTO Registration:
Only registered training organisations (RTOs) can issue AQF qualifications and deliver accredited training and assessment.

In order to become registered, training providers must meet the Australian Quality Training Framework 2007 (AQTF 2007) standards. This ensures the quality of Vocational Education and Training (VET) throughout Australia.

Airbrush Venturi has had to undertake significant restructuring and investment to meet the strict criteria required to become a registered training organisation.  The audit process is extremely rigorous and ensures that only organisations of the higest standard can pass.

Earning your trust and respect:
It is the corner stone of mission statement, to make sure that we are protecting you and guaranteeing that you will be taught a genuine rendering system with the highest of standards in course curriculum, course outcomes and teaching standards.

We are always developing our courses, upgrading every aspect of our equipment, materials, course notes, course curriculum, course outcomes, always improving.  More importantly we work very hard to individually work with each student to make sure the course is adapted to them regardless of their learning style.  We will happily do this for you.

In the old days you could only learn from two sources. First there were the privateers teaching out of their factory or garages.  These people are always very careful to withhold critical knowledge from their students so their students can never reach a skill level that could mean that they could compete against them.  Secondly there were the tafe & tertiary colleges where the lecturers usually can’t even airbrush properly, and cobble their courses together from knowledge taken, against copyright, from other people’s books and dvd’s.

Even today, the same problems are still widespread, and they all profess to do a great job teaching airbrushing.  The internet is awash with “self appointed experts” with slick web sites that are clearly too good to be true.

Today, there is a third choice, a community of airbrush teachers . . . Airbrush Venturi.  Airbrush Venturi is Australia’s only organisation dedicated to ONLY teaching airbrush and a never ending program of research.  Our charter is to develop faster, more exciting and effective methods of airbrushing . . . and in turn creating innovative, leading edge airbrush training programs.

Before you enrol in any airbrush course, you need to ask lots of questions;
things like . . .
Q: What are the course outcomes – what are you going to actually learn?
Q: How are they going to teach you – what is their course structure & lesson plan?
Q: What is the quality of the course notes provided?
Q: What equipment and materials are they providing?
Q: What sort of guarantees do they give that the course will work for you?
Q: Is the school or the course accredited in any way?
